The Indian Navy has invited online applications from unmarried men and women candidates to join it as Short Service Commission Officer in Executive Branches (Sports & Law) and Technical Branch (Naval Constructor) through June 2021 course entry. Total vacancies noticed by the Indian navy are 17 out of which 14 vacancies are in Naval Constructor branch, two vacancies are in Law Branch and 01 vacancy in Sports cadre. B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering / Any Other Branch or Law Degree Holder / sportspersons can apply online for this recruitment.

Job Type: Regular Vacancies in Short Service Cadre.

Salary / Pay Scale: Initial basic pay will be Rs. 56,100/- + Allowances.

Educational Qualification: Branch wise qualification details are as under –

• Sports: A candidate should have participated at Senior Level National Championships / Games in Athletics / Tennis / Football / Hockey / Basketball / Swimming & and he must possess a regular Post Graduate Degree or B.E./B. Tech in any field. Candidates with Diploma in Sports Coaching from National Institute of Sports/ M.Sc in Sports (Coaching) will be given priority for shortlisting
• Law: A degree in Law qualifying for enrolment as an advocate under Advocates Act 1961, with minimum 55% marks. 
• Naval Constructor: B.E./B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in any of the following disciplines:- (i) Mechanical Engineering (ii) Civil Engineering (iii) Aeronautical Engineering (iv) Aero Space Engineering (v) Mettallurgy (vi) Naval Architecture (vii) Ocean Engineering (viii) Marine Engineering (ix) Ship Technology (x) Ship Building (xi) Ship Design.

Experience (If Any): Freshers are eligible.

Age Limit: 191/2 -25 years for Naval Constructor Branch and 22-27 years for Other Branches 

Selection Process: Through SSB Interview.
